Mom’s Comforting Vanilla Pudding

 1 ½ cups 2% Milk or whole milk
 2 egg yolks
 2 tbsp corn starch
 ¼ cup sugar
 1 ½ tsp vanilla
 2 tbsp whipping cream

Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and stir with a wire whisk over medium heat. Continue stirring until mixture begins to thicken. Once it's thickened, serve it warm, or cover the pan and let it cool in the refrigerator.
