Oh man, you knew this day was coming…the day when I won’t shut up about my audiobook coming out. I just found out you can pre-order the audiobook version of Come On Down! A Little Story About My Italian Mom’s Big Dream right now! I am told it should be available to download by December 17th.
Order as many as you want. Really, go right ahead! (If you order from Libro, they’ll donate to the local bookstore of your choice in your area.) You can hear a sample on Apple Books. Links to Amazon and Audible will come soon, and as soon as I have them, I’ll add them to this list. Prices do vary on the different sites which surprised me.
I am told that if you are giving this as a gift, you just follow the directions on the site for gift giving. Just know that each platform does it slightly differently. Generally, the person getting the gift will receive an email saying they are being gifted an audiobook. Then they will have to go in and create an account so they can download it and any accompanying materials. Then they can read it.

I can hardly believe that after about more than 50 years of telling stories about my mom, this book will finally be coming out! I particularly love the fact that my name is proudly presented on a penne noodle. My daughter designed the cover, with some input from brother Brandon. And that nametag is a scanned copy of the actual one my mom wore on The Price is Right.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, the paperback and ebook won’t be out until January or possibly February. I’m still not sure.
