Mix together the ingredients to make the brownies as directed. The amounts are listed here and on the box. Here are the directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325°F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom and sides of the pan.
2. Stir Brownie Mix, Chocolate Syrup pouch, water, oil and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread evenly in pan.
3. Bake as directed below or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool.
Betty’s Tip: To cut warm brownies easily, cut with a knife using short sawing motions. Store tightly covered.
Put the chocolate chips and the whipping cream in a small sauce pan over low heat. Stir constantly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth. Set it aside. Cut the finished brownies and drizzle the ganache over the cut brownies.
