The Reviews Are In!

Thank GOD! I can finally breathe. Kirkus reviewed both my audiobook and the paperback of Come on Down! A Little Story About My Italian Mom’s Big Dream and gave both what I consider a ringing endorsement! Now you people in the above photo can proudly say, “Hey I read it and it really didn’t stink!”

In the publishing world, a good review gives you credibility, which then gives you the guts to send your book to people who will probably still ignore it, but at least you can hold your head high because you have a good review behind you. Here’s an excerpt from the Kirkus paperback review:

(Not that she wouldn’t have considered trying.) My next post (I swear) will include the recipe for the best Snickerdoodle cookies I ever baked!
